History was made in Abeokuta as the Barods Empowerment Foundation (BEF) hosted its inaugural public event at the Providence Mall, marking a significant milestone in their mission of compassion and support. Under the theme "Empowering Minds, Transforming Futures," BEF orchestrated a heartwarming initiative aimed at uplifting nearly 100 widows, extending a lifeline of hope and solidarity to those in need. Amidst the challenges faced by widows, BEF shines as a beacon of hope and unity, dedicated to making a difference in their lives. The event, which commenced at 12:00 PM, resonated with unity and generosity as widows from diverse backgrounds gathered at the Providence Mall, filled with anticipation and gratitude. The presence of esteemed individuals, including BEF chairman Babatunde Denton and his wife, Mrs. Ruth Denton, alongside board members like Mr. Adekunle Banjo and the foundation’s legal practitioner, Ms. MoTolani Oyedeji, underscored the collective commitment to BEF's mission.
